I might be a little biased, but these two have a special place in my heart. Emily is my Studio Manager, so when she and Charlie got engaged back in December, I was so excited for them! It got even better, when she asked me to be their photographer. When we sat down to talk about their engagement session and they wanted romance, and showed me the pictures of the location she had in mind, I was dying, because it was so pretty! I even went to check it out for myself, which is something that I never do!
We actually had to reschedule their session the first time because it was one of those weird weather days where we weren’t sure if it was going to rain or not, and we were having smoke in the are from fires up in Canada. I’m so glad we waited, because we ended up with the perfect day with the most beautiful sunny glow. It was so perfect, that we sat outside after the session and enjoyed some Bent Paddle beer, swatted some mosquitoes, and then headed over to Fitger’s for some more beer and good food. Let’s just say that we were all out past our bedtime which made for a not so super productive morning the next day :).
Their session was one of those sessions that photographers dream about. Charlie and Emily really did a great job planning for their session. Their outfits were perfect, the location was amazing, and they were so relaxed when they arrived for their session, that they were easily able to just focus on each other! No stress, but oh so much love
I am really looking forward to their wedding this coming October, they have some really fun and unique things planned. I’m thrilled to be a part of it!
And because Andy came with to the shoot, he shot some little video clips, so here is their slideshow with all of their images from their engagement session, but grab a Kleenex… you have been warned
